Thomas Ruston land conveyance papers 1794-1796

Land papers executed by Dr. Thomas Ruston, a physician of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (A.B. College of New Jersey, 1762 and M.D., University of Edinburgh, 1765). Ruston conveyed to Levi Hollingsworth, merchant of Philadelphia, 51,000 acres of land in Washington County, Georgia on November 22, 1794; to Mary Ruston, 15,287 acres and 99 square rods in Washington County, Massachusetts (now part of Maine); to Thomas Ruston, the younger, 251,000 acres in Franklin County, Georgia and 10,000 acres in Richmond County, Georgia; to Charlotte Ruston, 92,160 acres in the District of Ninety-six in South Carolina; 11,399 acres and 51 square rods in Washington County, Massachusetts; and 10,000 acres in Camden County, Georgia. Inclusive dates are 1794-1796
